I'm a sporadic contributor here, and am more a gnome than a prolific writer of prose, although I do lash out in that department occasionally.

In my book, 'geek' and 'pedant' are positive descriptors. Unlike the rest of the human race, I am occasionally a weak, conflicted, contradictory and hypocritical person. I sometimes try to give this up for Lent or Ramadan, depending on which comes first in a given year. Walt Whitman puts it better than I can: "Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"

I have never managed Elvis A. Presley's career; if I did, I would have traveled outside the USA and the Nederlands.
