Romanowski (feminine Romanowska, plural Romanowscy) is a Polish surname derived from any of the locations named Romanów, Romany, or Romanowo,[1] in their turn derived from the given name Roman. Other equivalents: Romanovsky/Romanovskiy (Russian), Ramanouski (Belarusian), Ramanauskas (Lithuanian).
