could you tell me what the 1953 class A $2 dollar is worth in excelant condition?

I couldn't tell you off-hand, but red seals as a rule of thumb aren't worth that much. I have a red seal $2 bill from 1928 that cost me under four bucks, for example. There are a few exceptions, but more than likely the thing isn't worth enough to get you a value meal at McDonalds. - Legend Saber (talk) 15:34, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can visit the Washington Square Coin Exchange to find reasonable pricing on most collectible coins and paper money. It appears that the 1953 red seal series of the $2 bill in very good condition (no rips, tears, creases, pin-holes, stains, etc.) averages around $4.00-$6.00.
