Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure this picture is the same one on the page for Battle of the Crater. Note the guy in the foreground with the mustache and the two officer types standing on top of the trench in both pictures. It'd probably be good to decided which battle it came from, if I'm not mistaken.


The Fredericksburg, Virginia article's link to it claims it's from the second Battle of Fredericksburg, and is "sometimes mistakenly labeled as taken at siege of Petersburg, Virginia" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.63.69.193 (talk) 06:48, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
