According to some research I did, the complete name of this drawing is Pori captivi magnanimitas et Alexandri regis clementia. It comes from a quote from Quintus Curtius Rufus. See Google Books. I'm not an expert, but I believe the translation from Latin to English is mistaken. I think it should be "the magnanimity of Porus and the mercy of king Alexander".
