This is a T-72, not a T-80— Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.165.95.172 (talkcontribs)

It appears to have the internally-controlled commander's machine gun and large-diameter snorkel directly on the rear of the turret. I'll have to check some sources to confirm with the other details, but it looks like it could be a T-80 to me. Difficult angle to judge from. Michael Z. 2008-05-16 16:58 z
I believe this is a T-80B. The road wheels are different from the T-64's stamped wheels and the T-72's large wheels. It has the enlarged gunner's sight and Kobra box on the right-hand side of the turret roof. It does not have ERA, so it is not the later T-80BV, T-80A, or T-80U. Michael Z. 2008-05-16 17:45 z
I can confirm that it is a T-80, and certainly not a T-72, for I have been to said Artillery Museum! 3Form (talk) 23:11, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
