The church is now located at the edge of West Bergholt, near Bluebell woods. The blue bell woods is known with another name, Holmhouse Wood. The church is in a rural area, and is surrounded by many forest elements. The church was built in the periods of 1100-1400, but strangly was mainly used in the 14th and 15th century. It closed in 1904.
