A vector version of this image is also available, and should be used in place of this raster image where the raster image contains information that could be stored more efficiently and/or accurately in the SVG format, as a vector graphic.

Problems

The text in this image is misleading. Non-normality of the tails is not a sufficient condition for determining whether a distribution is skewed. There are plenty of symmetric distributions that are not normal. Btyner (talk) 02:14, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
