"Badly damaged" versus "destroyed"[edit]

I don't know if there's a convention for this, but C-FLRG was "destroyed" in the sense that it was written off by the insurance company and removed from the register. I suppose that, so long as the certification plate still exists, it could technically be referred to as "badly damaged." What is the convention?--Tedd (talk) 06:20, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since this page is just about a photo and not a history of the individual aircraft I am not sure that it really matters. Even if it is re-built, which is unlikely at current aircraft values, it doesn't need to be noted here, since, as said, this is not a history of this aircraft, but just a photo to illustrate the Navion article. - Ahunt (talk) 12:58, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
