Inaccuracies in this diagram[edit]

I do not believe the political positions of Australia, New Zealand, or Taiwan (ROC) were mentioned in the book at all. The map is inaccurate in that regard.67.171.69.236 (talk) 20:21, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, labelling Japan, South Korea and Taiwan as NATO countries is somewhat confusing. Were they added to NATO in the book? TheFeds 08:08, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They definitely were not; in fact, there was a section of the book in which it was described that Japan wasn't allowing its territory to be used to launch attacks in the German/Russian conflict, partly b/c the USSR had floated the idea of returning parts of Sakhalin/Kurile Islands taken from Japan in WW2 in exchange for its neutrality. I believe there was also a one-off line about "what we have in Korea is needed there" -- implying no help was coming from the ROK, either.

Agree that this map is inaccurate and should be corrected or removed. 209.160.113.92 (talk) 12:28, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
