I don't think you should've reverted the changes, but I see why you did (you wanted to have uniformity between the set of images you made, neh?) I don't have time to fix every one of your images, BUT, I will tell you how I fixed this one so you can apply the same process to the other images: 1. Remove the background and extraneous centertaps that aren't connected in Inkscape or whatever SVG editor you use 2. Run the resultant SVG through Scour, which in this case reduced file size by a huge amount (Wikipedia doesn't have infinite space, and it's stupid not to slim the file if it doesn't need to be that big)

I am not removing the background, that is a style choice and is consistent with the MOS. The centre-taps are deliberately shown to emphasise that all circuits are terminated identically so I am not removing them either.
The most important thing here is what the reader sees and issues with space are secondary. I don't believe that Wikipedia has a problem with server space, but if it did the easiest solution would be to upload diagrams as PNGs. However, that usually results in the page getting a template slapped on it and a later, usually incompetent, attempt to convert the file. I don't have the time or the inclination to go through this process either so it looks like it is not going to get done. SpinningSpark 06:52, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
