This map was a proposal for division of territory into an Arab state and a Jewish state. After Israel was created the borders were different from these proposed borders. See Image:1947-UN-Partition-Plan-1949-Armistice-Comparison.png. Therefore this map belongs in these history map categories:
So since the map is listed in the subcategories it is not necessary to list them also in the higher categories. Especially since the proposed map is not an accurate map of the future borders of Israel or the Palestinian territories. --Timeshifter 15:56, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
