Note on the date 1902[edit]

In a 1921 publication entitled Picasso, page 3, section Gemälde, by art critic and close friend of Picasso, Maurice Raynal, Le bock (Portrait de Jaime Sabartes) was painted in 1902 (rather than 1901). Coldcreation (talk) 19:24, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Coldcreation, you are right, Raynal says 1902. This is my source for 1901: http://www.pablo-ruiz-picasso.net/theme-jaimesabartes.php. Picasso painted Sabartes several times: [1] and have a look at this source please: http://www.artnet.com/magazineus/features/kuspit/kuspit1-24-06-19.asp. Fine :-) But you d'ont believe, that the date 1901 is correct. Please have a look on the linked source of the Pushkin Museum in the licence, the owner of the painting. There is written 1901. --Alinea (talk) 16:17, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
