The Hamiltons[edit]
There is an error with this map, in that the mapmaker confused the City of Hamilton with Hamilton Township. Hamilton Township is shown as a single-tier municipality, which it is not - it politically and geographically part of Northumberland County. Meanwhile, the City of Hamilton is shown as a lower-tier municipality, which it has not been since it was amalgamated with the Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth and became a single-tier municipality.
