Error[edit]

This map is in error with regard to the boundaries of the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan Area as defined by the U. S. Census. St. Tammany should be included.

This is not a census map. Indeed, St. Tammany is part of the region called the "Florida Parishes." This is historically significant and geographically correct. I do not dispute the census data. St. Tammany is also part of the N.O. metro area; it is okay to note the overlap for St. Tammany. This is similar to how St. Charles and St. John the Baptist parishes are officially part of Acadiana as well as the N.O. metro. Aaron charles 14:46, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, the link to the data is broken, perhaps you know where it is currently located. (Apologies, one of my links was incorrect, too. - My browser does a weird thing where it doesn't always show the URL of the tab I'm looking at. And when copied gives the incorrect URL. It took me a while to understand the overlaps and make sure that they were correct in Wikipedia. I have lived in three of the La. regions. And despite years of Louisiana history from K-12, I have learned much by researching and editing with Wikipedia. Who knows? Maybe in our lifetime BR and NOLA might become one metro area?
