Non-free use rationale[edit]

I disagree with the deletion of the file. I uploaded this image and included it in the article because of this:

In early 1984, on the occasion of the release of third edition RuneQuest, Avalon Hill included in all RuneQuest boxes a single advertising flyer (see image, right) announcing the launch of HEROES, its own role-playing magazine.

And this:

[...] and had the main purpose to promote all four of Avalon Hill's role-playing games: James Bond 007, Lords of Creation, Powers and Perils, and RuneQuest.

The image is a text document and not a picture or a drawing. Thus, not only it illustrates the article, it also brings a reference to it. It does satisfy WP:NFCC#8. Kintaro (talk) 20:38, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, concerning Wikipedia:PROMO, yes, this is an advertising flyer... but the file itself and its use in Wikipedia are not promotional. The flyer was promotional 30 years ago.
