Why is the second focal length 70mm rather than 72mm (72.11)? The latter would be the appropriate equivalent focal length for the 18x24mm format shown.

Why 18x24 with a crop factor of 1.44 rather than one of the common formats with a crop factor of 1.6 (Canon) or 1.54 (Pentax)?

The crop factor 1.6 is used in the image but the 18x24 format has a crop factor of 1.44. I can only guess that this image has multiple uses and hence throws in a number of things together but it is a bit incoherent if viewed at on its own.
