I have always understood that the Fosseway runs from the Roman port that we now know as Seaton, in Devon and not Exeter as in this old map. Ordnance Survey shows clearly the Fosseway to Axminster, Devon, from Cirencester. After Axminster it is less defined but one would assume that it continues to the coast.--Ankor Juglor (talk) 13:10, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
