You have a point, most photos involve or require some context, though. guess 'teil' is cognate to english 'tail', though. anyway, this is a great photo, all it needs is a scale bar. The author graciously provides additional info that allow one to infer the size, but, with a scale bar, could be a featured picture; certainly it's a pretty sweet picture of owl feather serrata. 'Teil' is german for 'Part', so I guess this is one photo in a series of several photos showing different parts of the feather (Feder) of an owl (Eule) :) -- Verena who forgot her login 93.190.253.138 (talk) 15:37, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
