Update[edit]

Please update the map each week. Thank you. Tarkattack (talk) 12:38, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, I almost forgot: keep the map until an artist and song is picked. Tarkattack (talk) 17:02, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Belarus[edit]

DAMMIT! UPDATE THE MAP AND COLOR BELARUS IN GREEN!!! Tarkattack (talk) 10:54, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Tarkattack: File talk pages are rarely on people's watchlists, so it is likely that most contributors are not receiving the messages you are leaving here. This is particularly true when the file itself is on Wikimedia Commons, as this file is being used on multiple Wikimedia projects and not everyone edits the English Wikipedia. It would probably be better to raise any concerns at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2016 or on the file's Commons talk page. Please remember however that this is a voluntary project to which people contribute during their spare time – it is unrealistic and unreasonable to expect people to update the map the instant something changes. Furthermore, screaming at people in ALL CAPS is uncivil and will not lead to productive outcomes. Please review and follow the Wikipedia:Civility policy – consider this a warning. May I also gently point out that you are welcome to update the map yourself. CT Cooper · talk 16:38, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@CT Cooper: I am not sure if this is the place to ask, but I was wondering, if I wanted to update the map, how would I do it? Thank you in advance for your answer. ThePhantomKid012 (talk) 17:43, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As I said to Tarkattack, this isn't the best place to ask questions as file talk pages are rarely on people's watchlists – Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision is a good place to ask for help on Eurovision related matters. However, I'm still happy to answer questions on this page, regardless. I see you've previously uploaded a file to Wikimedia Commons so I assume you know the very basics on uploading files. To upload a new version of an existing file, go onto the Commons' file page, make sure you're logged-in, scroll down and click "Upload a new version of this file", then fill in the form which is self-explanatory. On editing the map itself, my graphics/image editing skills are not fantastic and most of my experience is working with raster graphics software, not vector graphics software, the latter of which covers .svg files. AxG (talk · contribs) and Wesley Mouse (talk · contribs) have updated the map in the past and will probably be better able to advice you on this. I hope I've been helpful nevertheless. Spain[edit]

What? So the Spanish artist and song is chosen. 193.219.190.168 (talk) 10:56, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Color error.[edit]

Rejected FireBrick #B22222

 1. Due to the appearance of the status of suspended EBU membership and blocking, it is necessary to assign it the color red.
 2. First of all, I want to say that the color that is used at the moment, for participants who have not passed the final, causes depression and leads to despondency.
