Coloring is confusing[edit]

I believe that the coloring of the map makes it hard for the reader to understand the decriminalization year, due to the diversity of the colors and the lack of connection among them. I suggest it be changed by linked colors such as grades of blue to red or something like that. I can't do it by myself, that's why I post it here. Thank you.
