Difference between parabola and hyperbola in figure[edit]

Can someone explain the difference between the parabola and the hyperbola in the figure? Am I mistaken, or are they illustrating the same thing here?

The parabola center axis is parallel to the cone side. The hyperbola axis suppose to be parallel to the cone axis. I think this image might be misleading, or It might be the perspective, idk — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.130.83.125 (talk) 23:27, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
