Olympic Dial[edit]

According to analysis of the published gear trains, the Olympic Dial is the only dial on the backside of the AM which travels counter-clockwise; all the rest travel clockwise. The inscriptions on the Olympic and Exigemos dials of the drawing would, therefore, be in the wrong order. I don't know whether the pointer shapes are meant to indicate the direction of travel; if they do, then the Exigemos and Olympic pointers are indicated to travel one way, the Callippic the other.
