to fix the SVG error. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 05:56, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Minorax: This sounds like you are asking for a new SVG file. Is it uploaded anywhere, say on Commons?

Unrelated to the above, but I need to question the existence of this local copy. The Commons file is protected as it's widely-used across projects and on Commons; while I see the theoretical concern of not having a local fallback, in practice the main effect seems to be more maintenance work. Hello. The new code for the respective files is to remove their existing SVG errors. Maintenance for these files should probably come once in a blue moon as there really isn't much to maintain for these files --Minorax«¦talk¦» 02:50, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
...which means that someone has to create a new file with the new code and upload it, isn't it?

The thing with maintenance work is that it seems to me that the amount of edits/uploads is larger than the amount of cases where the Commons file was broken (e.g history). Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 07:07, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

IMO you're both right - there's no clear need for a local copy, but also no clear need to get rid of it now that it exists either. * Pppery * it has begun... 02:52, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
