This may be a painting of Carl Nebel, though I haven't yet seen any reliable source that clearly says so, but it certainly was not published in The War between the United States and Mexico Illustrated. That book contained 12 lithographs of Nebel's paintings, and this one isn't among them. Lupo 07:45, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
