Picture[edit]

This is incorrect information..This photos has been misidentified. This is a photo of my three aunts, Mathilda, Alvina and Augusta Ramson. Alvina was married to a Rudolph Sager....but these are NOT the Sager Orphans. Linda Westrich

We had this discussion already on the Sager orphans page. Again, here's the URL the image was sourced from: http://www.nps.gov/archive/whmi/educate/whmitg/3whmi4.htm Martin1971 05:51, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

THIS IS NOT THE SAGER ORPHANS> YOU ARE PERPETRATING A FALSHOOD. THESE ARE THE RAMSON SISTER, MATHILDA, ALVINA AND AUGUSTA. ALVINA WAS MARRIED TO A SAGER, RUDOLPH SAGER. CHECK THEM OUT ON THE 1900 CENSUS IN COOK CO.,IL. YOU'LL FIND RUDOLPH SAGER AND HIS WIFE, ALVINA. MATHIDA LIVED IN COOK COUNTY UNTIL 1895 WHEN SHE AND HUSBAND FRED GRIESBACH MOVED TO TAYLOR CO., WI. I HAVE OTHER PHOTOS OF THESE WOMEN....THESE SAME 3 WOMEN. LG WESTRICH

Please see Talk:Sager orphans, and might I suggest that shouting and posting in places other than on talk pages is not how to civilly discuss the issue. Thanks. Katr67 02:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't care how many times you delete my text, it does not change the fact that this photo IS NOT the Sager girls. This photo is is my family album...these are my GREAT AUNTS, Matilda, Alvina and Augusta Ramson. Alvina was married to a SAGER...Rudolph Sager. I have photos of these women when they were younger...unmistakable image likenesses. It's pretty sad when the National Park Service IS NOT interested in being historically correct.

Linda G. Westrich

Hi Linda, your text isn't being deleted. As you can see, it has been moved to the talk page; this is the third time now. The kind of text you are posting doesn't belong on image or article pages, it belongs on the talk page. You can read more about talk pages here: WP:TALK. Note that Wikipedia works on consensus. You can read about that here: WP:CONSENSUS. Hopefully we can try to work this out and discussion on the talk page is a much better way for you to try to do it than posting again and again on the image page. We're sorry that you feel the attribution of the image isn't accurate, but you really need to contact the NPS about this. At Wikipedia, we can only use third-party sources and the NPS is considered to be a reliable source. If you can show that the NPS has corrected the attribution of the image, we will certainly take it down. Please post any further discussion at Talk:Sager orphans, that way it will have a better chance of being seen by other editors. Thanks! Katr67 (talk) 04:31, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
