How to update graph[edit]

  • What are the sources for the data values ? image name and description suggest BP (Ltd?) - Since this image is widely used, and should be updated as new data is added, it would be great if the update process could be automated or programmed.
  • Perhaps the WP articles should link to a general name that could redirect to the latest/best version as that changes.
  • Is there a general mechanism in Wikipedia to generate graphs from tabulated data (eg as there is in Excell) so we just need to add a new column or row for each year ?
