Problem with this litho, among many, is that the Turkish soldiers are all wearing fez. That was true maybe 50 years before that. These are not Sultan's soldiers anymore.

Yes, and the Greek soldiers all wear uniforms closer to the Balkan Wars than to 1921, and both sides' soldiers have clean uniforms and full equipment load. You realize that this is an artistic depiction, I hope... It is included because it is an eye-catching illustration and conveys a sense of the ferocity of the fighting, not as a source for students of uniformology.
