Wrong units on dimensions of acre?[edit]

Is the image mislabeled for the dimensions of an acre? It appears that it says that 1 acre = 1 rod * 1 furlong, but that would be 1/4 acre. I believe the strips should be labeled as 1 chain wide instead. (Also added on Talk:Furlong) -- Autopilot (talk) 02:41, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chains are a recent invention. It should be 4 x 40 rods, poles, or perches. Zyxwv99 (talk) 15:35, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
