Description
English: Screw corvette HNLMS Groningen in the Mediterranean. In 1857 a Dutch squadron made an exercise tour in the Mediterranean. The Prince of Orange was present on Groningen. The screw frigate in the background can therefore be identified as HNLMS Wassenaar. (information by Maritiem Museum Rotterdam)
