Description
Deutsch: Feldsteinkirche in Zahna im Naturpark Fläming. Die romanische Kreuzkirche gilt als älteste sakrale Stelle im ehemaligen Kursachsen und als erste deutsche Kirche im Fläming nach der slawischen Zeit. Der Bau stammt sehr wahrscheinlich aus der Zeit vor/um 1200. Die Stadt Zahna gehört zur Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Elbaue-Fläming im Landkreis Wittenberg in Sachsen-Anhalt.
English: Stonechurch in Zahna, built probably before or around 1200. First german church in the landscape Fläming, which was settled by slavic tribes from ca. 7th century until this time. The town Zahna, district Wittenberg, state Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, is situated in the Nature park Fläming.
