Summary

Description Technical drawing of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier. Although described as a "typical aircraft carrier" by ALL HANDS in 1953, the carrier depicted is a Yorktown-class carrier, designed in the 1930s. Of the three carriers built, only USS Enterprise (CV-6) survived the Second World War. She was later scrapped in 1958.
