To illustrate a poignant scene in the episode (infobox). The shot is "the subject of sourced commentary":

• The scene was created via traditional make-up and computer technology; Initially, it was decided that the antagonists of the episode would be dressed in elaborate "bark suits" so that they would blend into their surroundings. In the end, however, difficulties were so great that the show switch to digital effects. Visual effects supervisor Laurie Kallsen-George was tasked with creating the glowing red eyes. Kallsen-George digitized and blended various "eyeball images"—including shots of her family's dog (This is elaborate in the "Production" section). The effects were praised, with one critic calling them "eerie" (Expanded in the "Reception" section).
• The image represents a sequence that's presence significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and thus, its omission would be detrimental to that understanding. Describing the sequence solely using words (A man wearing a fake "bark suit" with glowing eyes made using a computer) does not do the image justice, nor does it adequately describe the situation to the reader, nor does it show, in detail, the intricacy of the digital effects.
