Description
Catharine Schaeffer Muhlenberg was the wife of Frederick Muhlenberg, Congressman from Pennsylvania, and the first Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
The portrait was published in Henrietta Meier Oakley and J. C. Schwab, The Muhlenberg Album, (New Haven, CT: Tuttle Press, 1910).[1]
