DescriptionWorked stones outside Fountains Mill, with modern masons' marks.jpg
English: These are two of a row of stones placed in front of Fountains Mill (at w:Fountains Abbey) that were shaped in the Mill when it was a Banker's Shop (Stonemasons' workshop) before it closed inI was 1997) These two show mason's marks.
I was shown these stones in 2016 or 17 by a man who claimed that Rello was his nickname, and he shaped the stone bearing that name in Fountains Mill. I have no way of verifying this.
