Summary

Description
English: Woolf's Engine House at Condurrow. If you want to get an idea of the size of the engine which was put in an engine house just look at the size of the large opening at the rear of the house which has to be big enough to get the main engine cylinder inside. This building housed a huge 80 inch pumping engine which was installed around 1907 although the engine itself was built in 1868 and had been used in other mines previously. More information on this building can be found on the Trevithick Society web site. http://www.trevithick-society.org.uk/industry/woolfs.htm
