Description
Deutsch: Die „neue Domorgel“ bzw. „Rieger-Orgel“ im rechten Seitenschiff (Apostelschiff) des Stephansdoms in der österreichischen Bundeshauptstadt Wien.
Das von der Orgelbaufirma Rieger gefertigte Instrument hat 55 Register auf 4 Manualen und wurde am 13. September 1991 geweiht. Sie ersetzte die eigentliche Domorgel (Kauffmann-Orgel) auf der Westempore, die im Prinzip nicht mehr spielbar war und nach der Inbetriebnahme der Rieger-Orgel außer Betrieb genommen wurde (2017 wurde die Kauffmann-Orgel, österreichs größte Orgel, zwecks Instandsetzung demontiert und abtransportiert).
