English: Bergen Hill-North Bergen-Western portal of North River Tunnels under Hudson Palisades. Originally developed by PRR in 1910, and used by New Jersey Transit and Amtrak. Original electric substation lower right, adjacent to proposed portal for THE Tunnel/Gateway Tunnel. Tonnelle Avenue (Route 1/9) in foreground.
