Summary
| Description | The Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 1207 West Green Street between S. Goodwin and S. Mathews Avenues in Urbana, Illinois, was built in 1959 and was designed by Harold Wagoner in an Expressionistic version of the Late Gothic Revival style. The church was founded in 1906 as Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church, formed out of Parks Chapel. In 1956, the church changed its name to "Wesley" to indicate that it was the church of the Wesley Foundation at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the first such organization in the country.
