Summary

Description
English: Short monophthongs of the Weert dialect depicted on a vowel chart.
Date
Source

Split from File:Weert Limburgish monophthong chart.svg, as the centering diphthongs [eə], [øə] and [oə] are phonemic monophthongs. It is thus impossible to fit all phonemic monophthongs onto one chart; the long vowels can be found here: File:Weert Limburgish monophthong chart with long vowels.svg. The chart itself is based on a chart in Heijmans, Linda; Gussenhoven, Carlos (1998). "The Dutch dialect of Weert". Journal of the International Phonetic Association 28.in Heijmans, Linda; Gussenhoven, Carlos (1998). "The Dutch dialect of Weert". Journal of the International Phonetic Association 28.
