Description
English: Carpenters time book dated Nov 22, 1819, enumerates the time ship carpenters and boat builders spent on different jobs. Projects listed include refitting the USS Congress, USS Columbia, working in the Mould Loft and building "Patterns." In the lower right hand corner is a doodle of two short birds. Time book may have been that of early WNY employee William Easby (1791-1854). Department of the Navy, Washington Navy Yard Library, document collection.
