Object history
Deutsch: Die schwarze Turmruine steht für die Arnulfsfeste. Die Ruine, auch Hetzelburg genannt, wurde im Jahr 879 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Bis zur zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts wurden die Pfalzgrafen von Görz als Besitzer genannt, ihnen folgten die Habsburger, danach die Ernauer, die Freiherren von Kronegg und im Jahr 1733 die Grafen von Goëss. Die Gemeinde Moosburg hatte vor der Wappenverleihung ein Siegel mit einem Turm geführt. Die herauswachsende Eiche wurde erst später ergänzt. Sie soll die weit zurückreichende herrschaftliche Tradition zum Ausdruck bringen.
