Object history Die Rohrkolben und der heraldische Dreiberg bilden gemeinsam ein sogenanntes "redendes Wappen", welches der Gemeinde 1965 neu verliehen wurde. Es erklärt den Ortsnamen also als "zu dem Berg, an dem die Rohrkolben wachsen". Der Schloss- oder Seubertsweiher unterhalb der Burg in Richtung Unterfelden besitzt heute noch an seinem Ufer Exemplare des Breitblättrigen Rohrkolbens (typha latifolia), welcher dreimal im Wappen erscheint. (Ein ähnliches Wappen mit drei Rohrkolben im Wasser verwendet die Stadt Kolbermoor im Kreis Aibling.)
