English: Arms of Wakeman of Exeter, Devon: Vert, a saltire wavy ermine (Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitations of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.767). Arms of Thomas Wakeman (fl.1620) of Exeter. A monument to his widow Judith Spicer (d.1644), daughter of Thomas Spicer, Alderman of Exeter, survives in St Martin's Church, Exeter (Lysons, Daniel & Lysons, Samuel, Magna Britannia, Vol.6, Devonshire, London, 1822)
