Description
English: Waffen-SS uniform used by a frontkjemper (Frontfighter), a Norwegian collaborationist volunteer, of Regiment Nordland (from November 1942 11th SS Volunteer Panzergrenadier Division Nordland). Pins, decorations, etc. on tunic: Fronterkjempermerket, Pohjoisrintama Die Nordfront 1941-1943 (Finland/Third Reich Finnisch-deutsches Nordfrontkreuz), SS Nordland Wiking ring, and skull ring. Photo taken on 8 May 2019 at Lofoten War Memorial Museum (Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway. The museum exhibits uniforms, smaller items, etc. from World War II and the German occupation of Norway 1940–1945.
