Summary

Description
English: Waffen-SS uniform used by a "frontkjemper" ("Frontfighter", a Norwegian collaborationist volunteer ) of Regiment Nordland (from November 1942 11th SS Volunteer Panzergrenadier Division Nordland).
Tunic with black SS-Mann (private) insignia on left collar badge (Kragenspiegel, gorget patch), the SS runes (Sigrunen) on right collar tab, and SS eagle ("Ärmelvogel"), Norwegian flag cloth patch and cufftitle "Nordland" on left sleeve. Also dogtag, SS belt buckle ("Meine Ehre heißt Treue"), belt and field gear frame with straps and Mauser ammunition pouches, SS eagle (Ärmelvogel), steelhelmet (Stahlhelm) with SS runes decal, etc. Pins, decorations, etc. on tunic: "Fronterkjempermerket", "Pohjoisrintama Die Nordfront 1941-1943" (Finland/Third Reich Finnisch-deutsches Nordfrontkreuz), SS Nordland ring and skull ring. Soldiers' songbook in Norwegian ("Frontkjemper sangbok"). Peaked field cap M43 with cloth SS skull and eagle on side. Propaganda poster for "Den norske skijegerbataljon" on the wall.
