English: WISE: Sustainable construction in practice A new residential teaching facility (Wales Institute for Sustainable Education) under construction at the Centre for Alternative Technology. The building incorporates carbon-saving materials and technologies including 'hemcrete' (hemp based sprayed concrete) and 7.2m-high rammed earth walls, making them the highest walls of this kind in Britain.
