Ce vitrail sur verre opaque décore la porte d'un placard au-dessus de la cheminée du hall principal de la Maison pour un amateur d'art. Tous les vitraux de la Maison ont été fabriqués selon les techniques et avec les matériaux de l'époque, en respectant les dessins de C.R. Mackintosh et de M. Macdonald. La "Maison pour un amateur d'art" a été reconstituée, à partir des dessins et des plans de l'architecte, peintre et designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Construite dans le parc Bellahouston, elle fait partie de l'offre culturelle de la ville de Glasgow en hommage au fondateur du "Glasgow Style" et à son épouse, artiste également : Margaret Macdonald. www.houseforanartlover.co.uk/ |
