English: Two Vishnu statues discovered in Cibuaya site, Karawang, West Java. Estimated originated from Tarumanagara kingdom c. 7th-8th century CE. Collection of National Museum of Indonesia, Jakarta Inv. 7974 and 8416. Vishnu is Hindu god of preserver, the tubular crown bears similarities with Cambodian Khmer art. Bahasa Indonesia: Dua arca Wishnu yang ditemukan di situs Cibuaya, Karawang, Jawa Barat. Diperkirakan berasal dari kerajaan tarumanagara, sekitar kurun abad ke-7 sampai ke-8 Masehi. Koleksi Museum Nasional Indonesia, Jakarta, Inv. 7974 dan 8416. Wishnu adalah dewa pemelihara dala agama Hindu, mahkotanya yang berbentuk tabung mirip dengan arca gaya Khmer Kamboja. |
