Visconde do Rio Branco Square, c.1880. This square is located in Belém, capital of the Brazilian state of Pará. Its name is a homage to the Brazilian statesman José Paranhos, Viscount of Rio Branco and a monument in his honor can be seen at the middle of the picture.
